The area is an absolute haven for wildlife and is perfect for walkers and cyclists alike with some of the best walking within the area from your doorstep, explore the Black Mountains, and join the Offa’s Dyke pathway which will take you deeper into the countryside. Ideal for touring with the market town of Abergavenny with a regular farmers market and annual food festival, Crickhowell nestled within the Usk Valley and Hay-on-Wye with it's renowned literary festival and eclectic range of book shops that all celebrate the book festivals throughout the year.

Take some time to look back at the mountains before you step back in time to the bothy, the lounge/kitchen/diner will simply take your breath away with the attention to detail and unique style all just perfect for mountain retreat.
