We were looking for peace and quite, a large bed and a quality shower, this is the first cottage we have stayed in that more than fills those requirements, we have had considerable experience of second best! This is probably the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. Will & Fiona have thought of everything. They gave us a very warm welcome and shared vegetables from their garden and heated the hot tub for us ready for our arrival. There are beautiful walks very close by. Our dog was welcomed too.

Totally loved our time here. The owners were absolutely lovely - helpful and thoughtful. Warm, friendly hosts and a beautiful location make this an ideal romantic getaway. The wood fired hot tub is sublime and since we had that rarest of weeks in the high 20's and wall to wall sun also makes a nice plunge pool! Also make use of the Kotlich for outdoor cooking. Highly recommended.

Superb holiday cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break. Hot tub is a nice touch and it was fun heating it ourselves. It's a great place if you have a dog with a large woodland for exercising them adjacent to the cottage. Will and Fiona are very friendly and we want to return to The Stable.

Top quality all round :- hospitality provided by Fiona; a wonderful location; a property fitted with everything you would want and a bit more in a holiday cottage. Loved the woodland walk, 'break its neck' waterfalls at Warren woods and Hay-on-Wye river walk. Excellent location for a dog - just hope for better weather next time !!
