This welcoming holiday lodge is one of five situated along the river bank of the Cherwell on a small estate. Sleeping six guests, it’s a location for family holiday.

Located a short drive from the interesting city of Oxford, you will never be lost for great places to visit and see. The world-renowned university dates back as far as 1188 and has produced some of the world’s greatest minds. The city’s major attractions include so many eye catching architectural wonders such as The Bodleian Library, Pitt Rivers Museum and The Ashmolean. A camera is essential, needless to say. There are shops galore in the centre of Oxford too, if you like reading the choice of bookshops is bottomless. Why not embark on a trip in a punt from Folly Bridge to pretty Iffley Lock; take a trip on a tourist bus, or have a picnic in Christchurch Meadows? There is a large selection of historical places to check out on your stay near Oxford. Situated on a lovely, secluded estate on the banks of the River Cherwell, you have the best of both worlds – a city on your doorstep, yet it still retains that rural feel.

On arrival at the property, enter through a hallway and you will reach the large open plan living area. The lounge/kitchen/diner is spacious and light. The lounge area has comfy places to sit and unwind in front of the TV/DVD at the end of a day’s worth of exploration. Close by is a dining table large enough for six guests. The kitchen area includes a gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, hi-fi and fridge/freezer. There is a shared utility room containing a washing machine and tumble dryer on site. The three bedrooms includes two doubles, one of with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom is a twin. Nearby is the main bathroom with a shower over bath and WC.

Outside the holiday lodge is a veranda that runs the width of the lodge. Full of neat flora and fauna the shared garden is a very pleasant spot to recharge and make plans for the rest of the stay in Oxford. There is also ample parking nearby. Every lodge has its own garden area, with garden furniture and a BBQ, and access to the riverside gardens located through a private entrance. Please enquire in advance if you’d like to go punting or fish on site as it can be arranged for you, as well as weekly cleaning, secretarial, and an advance grocery order service.

Please note there is a refundable £450 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.
