A comfortable and extremely well equipped cottage. Local shops are a bit thin on the ground so stock up well before you go - the local pub offers tasty meals!

Very clean & modern, good selection of kitchen utensils. Owner was very nice & keen to help should any be required. A home from home in a really nice environment.

We would recommend Carters Cottage for both its quality of accommodation and location. Two good sized bedrooms, a well fitted kitchen, cosy lounge, plenty of car parking. We had 2 BBQs in the charming garden and loved the burgers/sausages we bought from the farm. We ate at the local Red Lion pub twice. The food was good quality (do book). This areaRead more has lots of quaint villages. We particularly liked Burford, Lovell Minster, Witney and Bampton (TV location for the village used in Downton Abbey). Hide

Excellent cottage, great location for the Cotswolds and Oxford. Friendly owners met us on arrival and then left us alone unless we needed something, they are just around the corner. Very peaceful location and handy for several good pubs with the Red Lion being within a 5 minute walk.
