Wonderfully spacious with countryside views from most rooms, this secluded three-storey property offers comfortable rural accommodation for large families or a gathering of friends

This comfortable holiday property is one of two at the same location. It’s the perfect choice for an extended family or a friends’ reunion, deep in the heart of the English countryside. Embrace the experience by taking some peaceful walks along the footpaths and bridleways, and there are a few excellent walks from the nearby village of Stonesfield. The property is also ideally placed for visitors wishing to explore the wider area, for instance the academic and historical haven of Oxford, or the grand Blenheim Palace. To the west are the wonderful Malvern Hills which are a must-see when visiting the region. Closer to home are the local pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages.


On arrival, you will see that this large and spacious house is full of personality. Set over three storeys, the ground floor consists of an entrance hall, with a useful utility room for coats and muddy boots. The large lounge/diner has ample seating for all guests, with a TV/DVD to kick back and enjoy some movies on. Central to the room is a wood burner (first basket of logs included) to gather around on cooler days and evenings. In the kitchen is a further couch to hide away too, and a breakfast diner to enjoy quick snacks from. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and a fridge/freezer. On the first floor are four of the six bedrooms. The first bedroom accommodates a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as twin beds) with an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, lovely feature windows and exposed beams. The third bedroom also contains a king-size bed  and connects to the fourth bedroom which is a twin  room. Nearby is the family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The top floor has a further two bedrooms and a shower room. The first of the bedrooms contains a king-size bed, and the last bedroom is a twin, ideal for children because of the slanted ceilings.


Outside the property is a sloping, enclosed lawn garden with a patio. There is plenty of garden furniture and a BBQ to enjoy some al fresco dining. There is ample parking for guests too.


Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Absolutely fantastic! Worked prefect for 10 of us aged from 4 to 65. Big enough for everyone to have their own space as well as the living room and kitchen being big enough for us all to be together. Great location too.

Overall an excellent cottage. The living space was particularly good with plenty of space and seating on the sofas and dining table to make it very sociable with a large group. The beds were all very good and all the rooms clean. There seemed to be a lot of flies some days, not sure why but not too much of an issue.

Great location, wonderful scenery, great pub in village. Could be a lovely place with a bit of elbow grease. View from lounge window not great, seems to be a dumping ground for an old bath, chairs, bike, bits of metal and timber etc needs to be tidied up.
