Great cottage if you want something very rural, only couple of other houses in eye shot. The external photos of the cottage are misleading - the picture of The Gallery is in fact both The Gallery and Oak Tree Cottage so this was a little disappointing as the size of the cottage was much smaller than we anticipated. The kitchen facilities are great,Read more the host is helpful (we didn't have hot water 2/3 nights and no heating 1 night but was resolved thankfully), sofa bed mattress is ok but very thin. Hide

Perfect cottage with great views. Isolated but easily accessible - Stow on the Wold is approx 20mins away. Really enjoyed our stay.

This was an excellent base for exploring Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. The cottage is very well appointed, clean and very comfortable. It feels like your own space while you're there but Vicky is available if needed. It was so good for our dogs who settled in immediately and were relaxed and happy the whole time

The property is quite rural so you have to be prepared to drive to buy the essentials or eat out. but the host provides lots of information on shops and pubs in the area. It was great and a very relaxing place.
