Inviting, three-bedroom terraced house with lovely garden, close to the centre of popular market town of Chipping Norton. Perfect for a family break.

This cottage is well-situated, just a short, level walk into the centre of Chipping Norton to a good selection of shops, wine bars, pubs (some dog friendly), restaurants and a theatre. There is a good bus service from the town into Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Stratford-upon-Avon or to Banbury. Catch a train from Kingham to London Paddington for a day out in the capital. Chipping Norton itself has a fascinating history which can be delved into at the local museum. There are lots of places of historical interest, namely St Mary's Church and The Alms Houses. Lovely walks close to the property include one to Pool Meadow and the fields beyond where there are fabulous views across to Over Norton.

After entering through the useful lobby, you will find the spacious open plan lounge with ample comfortable seating, a cosy wood burner, and a TV/DVD with Freeview, hi-fi and iPod dock. The kitchen area comes equipped with a gas oven and hob, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer. There is also a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs on the first floor are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, all of which are light and airy, making relaxing retreats to retire to at the end of a long day. The bathroom contains a shower over bath and WC.

Outside there is a small enclosed garden to the front, and a large enclosed space to the rear of the property, with a patio and lawn area, as well as a BBQ for al fresco dining in the summer. The garden furniture completes the picture making it a great place to unwind after a long day’s touring. Please note, the rear garden is not attached to the house and is accessed via steep stone steps.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Nice cottage, thought the lack of parking might be a problem but did not seem to be, as the suggestedge parking spot was fine. Kitchen very well stocked, every pot or pan you could ever need. Nice cake and milk left for our arrival. Garden very steep steps, not really suitable for elderly people or large elderly dogs.

The cottage is located near to the town centre. The road is busy and the masterbedroom is at the roadside, so noisy if you sleep with an open window.

We liked the accommodation and its equipment , the garden is the star of the show however. We were advised to take towels but on arrival found them there waiting on the beds.
