Upper Brailes is just east of Shipston on Stour and is set on the edge of the Cotswold’s within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers a wealth of walking, with villages just ready to explore. Attractions within easy access to include Shakespeare’s birthplace Stratford upon Avon, Warwick castle, Oxford with its dreaming spires and Cheltenham home of the Gold Cup many National Trust Properties and gardens which include Blenheim Palace and Chastleton House, Brook Cottage Garden, the Bloxham Museum and the Civil War battlefield of Edgehill. For shoppers, Bicester shopping village is also within easy access and offers a great day out. Foodies will love the good selection of nearby pubs and restaurants, the local French artisan bakers and award winning butchers. Enjoy a game of French boules or croquet on the lawn.

The single-storey accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower and WC, 1 double and 1 single. Bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Lounge with woodburner (first basket of logs included), SkyTV (basic sky package), BT sports and DVD. Kitchen/diner is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Outside there is a patio area with garden furniture and pretty open gardens which include an orchard. Ample off road  parking. 1 dog welcome.

A wonderfully relaxing cottage with a huge garden attracting all sorts of wild life. Near enough for all the Cotswold attractions. Owners particularly welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

Great views from lounge looking onto garden, saw deers, Munk Jacks, Pheasants. The bird feeders were filled every day so lots of birds visiting especially woodpeckers. Lots of space for dogs to have a run.

This was a delightful cottage, ideal for a family reunion. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio in the sun for a leisurely breakfast. The wildlife friendly garden was a joy , especially when the deer visited us! Our hosts were very welcoming. We found this area had plenty of interesting places to visit.

The cottage is well equipped and Kate the owner is very welcoming As we stayed in February it was nice that the cottage is well heated & the wood burner an added extra The garden is huge and an ideal 'adventure area' for our granddaughters with lots of wild life to watch for. We had a great holiday the barn is located in an area that has easy access to the Cotswolds and other attractions. The barn is well equipped for cooking comfortable lounge and was very warm. Beds comfortable and bathrooms fine. Lovely to see the deer. Our dog loved the walks and utility room very handy for drying her off

Quiet location with variety of wildlife, deers, partridges, etc in the garden Good local services and very convenient for Cotswolds and Warwickshire. Mr and Mrs Kirk are excellent hosts, very amenable.
