A very comfortable cottage in a quiet village. It's right next to a church who's bells sound the time but that didnt bother us. the owner provided milk and bread on our arrival. The directions need adjusting. If I hadnt looked on Google Maps we would have got lost. The pub nearby is shut as is the one in the next village. We had a lovely week. TherRead moree's lots to see and do in the surrounding area. A lovely week. Hide

Excellent, well kept & equipped. Unique character/ambience. Felt more like home than most rentals. Worthy of a return stay. Sleepy village, friendly locals. Ideal for relaxation, walks, cycling in countryside. Easy access to Shrewsbury & its varied attractions. Unfortunate that local village pub & nearby Grinshill Inn now both closed. Red Lion in MRead moreyddle, (~4 miles) is good for food / drink. Hide

Very comfy like home from home. Using the original beams added character to the property. The bells from the local church add charm to the location.

Ivy Barn is a very cosy and comfortable cottage in a very pretty village just north of Shrewsbury. It is well appointed and the garden is a lovely place to sit on a sunny evening. Although there are a few steps, the cottage is quite manageable for those with some mobility difficulties. There are plenty of places to visit in the local area.
