Attractive converted barn with superb well-stocked fishing lakes, on a Shropshire farm close to Shrewsbury. Perfect base for fisherman, walkers, cyclists, historians and culturists all year round.

Located six miles from Shrewsbury, the ancient medieval market town of Shropshire, which is brimming with hundreds of listed buildings including the castle and world-famous Abbey, theatre, shops, cafes and restaurants. Nearby Church Stretton is an excellent base for the country lover and sportsman alike with walking, cycling and hand gliding for all abilities. Fisherman can visit the six private fishing pools nearby for course fishing, enthusiastic golfers can head to Shrewsbury Golf Club whilst historians can visit National Trust properties such as Chirk and Powis Castles, Erddig and Attingham Park with beautiful grounds and gardens. Visit historic Much Wenlock with unique shops, tea rooms, a 12th century priory and museum or try horse riding at the stables nearby. There really is something for everyone here.

This attractive converted barn with exposed timbers and red brick has been thoughtfully planned for your stay. The front door opens into the stylish kitchen/diner, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. If you decide to rustle up a meal and eat in, the dining table is perfectly positioned by the window to gather round and after dinner the table has ample space to open the maps and plan your holiday activities. Relax in the beautifully furnished lounge with TV, comfortable sofas and even a piano for the musicians in your party. After a full day out exploring, or fishing, watch a film on the TV or lose yourself in a good book and enjoy the creature comforts. Take a leisurely bath in the stylish bathroom, with bath and separate shower and WC. When it is time to retire choose from two gorgeous bedrooms one lovely twin or the double with en-suite shower and WC. This is a lovely property to fall asleep and wake up in.

Relax outside and enjoy al fresco dining in the open courtyard with a paved patio area, table and chairs. Head off to the six fishing pools, coarse fishing available directly with the owner (at an extra charge) and embrace the views, or you and your dog could enjoy a stroll through our woods and around the pools following our Barn Owl Trail (completely private to you and a map is provided). Enjoy morning coffee, listen to birdsong and enjoy views over the idyllic countryside from sunrise and to sunset. There is private parking and lockable bike store available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.
