This was a quaint little cottage bursting with character. We are 6ft tall so banged our heads on the low doors and beams but it wouldn't put me off staying there. The bed was really comfy. It was only a few minutes walk to either the river or the town so that was fab. Ludlow is a beautiful place and i would definitely recommend it. A beautiful cottage in a fabulous location. The cottage has all that you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. This is a tiny cottage, clearly much loved by a very thoughtful owner who is mindful of her guests comforts. For my taste, however, it is overfilled with far too many cushions and objects on every surface that need to be moved to put your cup of tea down. These are beautiful but make it feel somewhat claustrophobic. The bathroom is lovely but highlRead morey impractical, and there is nowhere for muddy boots and wet coats. It is a charming cottage, and the owner is very nice, but it just wasnt for us! Hide

The cottage is very well presented and the owner makes you feel very welcome. Its ideally situated for the delights of Ludlow and there are walks to the forest from the door. Unfortunately the low beams present a hazard to people of 6 foot plus.
