Located in pretty Beguildy with pub and shop, close to medieval Clun, the historic market towns of Knighton and Ludlow, spa town Llandrindod Wells and Newtown on the banks of the River Severn. All offer an array of activities, eateries’, independent shops, museums and galleries. Roam the 43 acre grounds designated as a Local Wildlife Site by Shropshire Wildlife Trust, join Glyndwr’s Way National Trail or Offa’s Dyke or choose one of the many footpaths, cycle routes and bridle ways through the majestic Welsh and rolling Shropshire Hills. Explore the Observatory Spaceguard Centre, The Judges Lodging and National Trust Powis Castle and Gardens to name but a few of the attractions. Perfect for a relaxing stay.

The property has been lovingly refurbished, in 2017 and has flagstone floors and exposed beams greet you as you enter this charming property. The spacious and creative open-plan lounge/diner has a fabulous inglenook fireplace and wood burner taking centre stage. Relax on the comfy sofas and watch TV or a film on the DVD, listen to music while you lose yourself in a good book or just embrace the wonderful view of rolling countryside. The dining table is well placed to enjoy a meal and discuss your plans for tomorrow. If you decide to eat in, the superb kitchen caters for all your needs with electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave alongside thoughtful little extras creating a delightful space to prepare a meal. Upstairs you can truly relax in the lovely bathroom with shower over bath and WC and then retire to the welcoming super-king-size bedroom with freshly laundered linen and fluffy towels.

Enjoy alfresco dining on the patio with furniture and BBQ or take a picnic on the lawn. Make the most of the stunning views from the private hot tub or explore the 43 acres of grounds. Private parking for two cars at the property. Shared laundry in the Pump House with washing machine and tumble dryer. Bicycle and canoe store is available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Only chose this Cottage if you like remote locations it is great for dogs and walking. Everything you need is provided for as a home from home. Dave and jenny could not be more helpful

Everything about this place is just wonderful. If you want to escape civilisation for a bit this is definitely the place to be. Owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. I would definitely return and recommend this cottage to anyone.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in tack cottage, the cottage itself was perfect and in a gorgeous location! Perfect for us as we enjoy lovely walks in the amazing countryside with outstanding views and then a lovely relax in the hot tub. Nothing was too much trouble! We highly recommend the cottage and will definitely be going back!

We had a lovely stay at Tack Cottage. It was warm and cosy with all the amenities that we needed. Jenny was super helpful and there were lots of thoughtful touches including a room full of books, games and DVDs. The hot tub with the view of the stars was beautiful. A real break from it all. My husband and I and our spaniel Hugo had a fab weekend at Tack Cottage. Lovely cottage, great walks in a fab location. Jenny & Dave the owners are very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. This is all about quiet & countryside views, just what we wanted. The added bonus was the pet animals, wildlife, lack of light & noise pollution so we could enjoy the hot tub till late & the stars in the clear skies. The hosts are the most friendly & approachable we have known.

Fantastic quiet relaxing location well away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, complemented by very helpful and friendly owners. Hot tub an added bonus with the best views you could wish for. Bed very comfortable and large. Wood burner is great and gets the room hot very efficiently. Great for furry pals as you dont have far to go for a Read morewalk, as its right on your door step to fields a plenty. Loved it and didnt want to go home. Give it a go you wont be disappointed. The cottage is very warm, clean and cosy. It has everything you need and the owners have included many things we didnt expect including robes to wear to the hot tub and Im the kitchen tea, coffee, fresh milk and eggs from their chickens which were delicious. We had an amazing time here, owners made us feel very welcome!! We took our 2 and half year old daughter and our 3 month old and they had the best time playing in the very spacious garden and surrounding fields. Also took our 2 dogs and they loved the freedom of the open fields to run around. Will 100% be coming back to stay again!!

The whole place was perfect. Comfy and cosy with a gorgeous view in the middle of nowhere. We went on some lovely walks and experienced wonderful, friendly service everywhere we went. Dave and Jenny were lovely and we had the impression that if we needed anything they would bend over backwards to help.
