We had a lovely stay at Hen Cottage, the property is great and the surroundings are beautiful. The personal touches are really thoughtful too. This beautiful cottage was so warm and welcoming. The owners are so lovely and are discreetly on hand should you need to ask them anything. Cosy cottage, felt like a home from home. Lots of personal touches and attention to detail. Good base to walk in the Peak District, although walks tended to be a car-drive away. Lots of nice little complimentary extras added by Bill & Ellen who run the cottages. These included hand written notes, fresh farm eggs, beer and nice bread. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Peak District.

This is a very well appointed cottage, we did not need anything that had not been thought of by the owners. The location is stunning, we enjoyed it even though we had a wet week! In good weather it would be hard to better. The cottage is comfortable and cosy and a real home from home. Our dog was made welcome and she loved the location too
