The location is perfect for a rural get away. The barn itself is beautiful, well equipped and super clean. Plenty of wood in the attached barn for the fire! When the fire is going the barn is really warm throughout. Beware that the wifi is really poor and you don't get any phone signal. Great walks nearby which our two dogs loved, the garden isn't Read moreoverly secure especially if you have a small dog they may get under the fence (our two dogs went walkies on their own in a near by field!) This is a lovely property. It is at the end of quite a long lane and is quite remote, but there are also a number of villages & towns within a short drive which are all very nice. The property is bigger than we expected and was very comfortable. There are walks nearby but the footpaths have sometimes seen better days - it might be best to go furtheRead morer afield. Small dogs could get out of the garden as the fence isnt totally dog proof. All in all, a great property - fantastic log burner! Hide

Lovely spacious cottage with beautiful scenic surroundings. The only down fall for us was that there were not many pubs in walking distance and no shops, we had to drive out every day and the day we did go for a long walk to a pub it was closed in the day.

This cottage is in a quiet and secluded location but still very accessible to the town of Leek and Peak District Village Trails, an ideal location for people who enjoy walking. After our days out we particularly enjoyed relaxing evenings in the lounge with the wood burner ablaze making it very cosy.
