This spacious semi-detached cottage set on the edge of the Peak District retains original beams and character yet offers a light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.

The pretty traditional village of Denstone provides a fantastic base for exploring the abundance of attractions within the area. Alton Towers theme park is just a few minutes’ drive away, a must visit for thrill seekers. Located on the edge of the Peak District, there is plenty to do in the area; the market towns of Ashbourne and Leek are easily accessible, as is the town of Uttoxeter. The historic houses of Haddon and Chatsworth are within easy reach, and there are numerous walking, cycling and climbing opportunities.

Step into the cottage which is attached to the owners property and you will find a handy entrance area, which is the perfect place to kick off muddy boots and find your slippers. Step through into the lounge which boasts a beautiful wood burner, comfortable seating and low-level windows overlooking the surrounding fields. The TV/DVD is there if you need it, as those views provide a wonderful distraction. Stepping up into the impressive kitchen/diner boasting a high ceiling and large arched window, the kitchen area offers everything you need for a home away from home stay with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. In the dining area the spacious dining table provides a great spot to plan the day’s activities over a lazy breakfast. There is a ground floor bedroom with a double bed and handy ground floor bathroom just next door with bath and WC. The first floor bedroom offers a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as twin beds on request) and shower room with shower and WC.

There is a lovely patio area to the rear of the property with seating and charcoal BBQ. The property has ample off-road parking.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
