Situated near the flight path to the airport lose yourself in this peaceful hamlet of working farms with a wealth of well waymarked paths that will guide you across the countryside, where you can take in the rolling meadows and canal footpaths at your leisure. With easy access to Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, home to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Warwick Castle and Henley-in-Arden with its high street brimming with boutiques, cafes and restaurants. The National Trust plays a big part with a wealth of gardens and properties to visit throughout the year including Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Baddesley Clinton and Packwood. For family fun Stratford Butterfly Farm, The West Midlands Motor Museum and Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre.

Take in the original features of this former milking parlour, leave your walking boots by the door and step inside. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is simply charming with exposed beams and Karndean floors throughout. The cosy seating area is the perfect place to relax in front of the TV or watch a film on the DVD after day of walking and exploring. The kitchen is warmed by a traditional Rayburn in the winter with the remainder of the kitchen delivering a contemporary twist with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. The dining area sits to the side enjoying views onto the courtyard. For your muddy boots and walking clothes a utility room with washer/dryer and separate WC is just off the kitchen. When the day is done you will find two bedrooms on the ground floor, one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) and one bunk bedroom. There is a bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

Enjoy your morning coffee with bird song in your private courtyard with garden furniture. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars.

We stayed at this cottage in February half term with our two young children and had a lovely time. The cottage is so homely and we really appreciated all the extra touches like welcome food and toys and games for the kids. Beautiful cottage, very clean, well equipped and homely, with food treats on arrival. Suitable for children, with toys, games and a safe area outside for them.
