A beautiful cottage and garden in a very peaceful and convenient location (only a few minutes walk to a decent pub, & 30 mins to Stratford centre). Included everything we needed for a 5 night stay with our labrador.

For a short weekend away this property was perfect and exactly what we had hoped, quaint, like stepping back in time and perfectly situated for all the theatre, cultural events, town center and the all important Sunday roast at a pub. Even being just a short distance away from one of the main tourist attractions of the city, the cottage was peacefuRead morel. We hope to be coming back later in the year to make the most of proximity to other towns as well as enjoying Stratford upon Avon more. Hide

Beautiful cottage. Very good amenities ,it had everything we needed. Just be careful the doors are very low we had a few banged heads lol. The pub around the corner has great food. Nice easy walk into the centre of town. Highly recommend.

Was OK. Didn't really stay long in the cottage as weather was too nice to stay indoors. wish it had a BBQ.

The property is very impressive and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It is a short drive from Stratford upon Avon and very near to Anne Hathaway's cottage. Parking is expensive in Stratford so the park and ride is a better option. I would recommend The Bell pub in Shottery.

Winter's Tale is a beautiful unspoilt historic cottage with great character. The location is perfect for Anne Hathaway's cottage and for picking up the sightseeing bus into Stratford. It has a lovely enclosed cottage garden and is well equipped including blankets and bowls for the dog! The original floorboards and doorways etc could make it unsuitaRead moreble for anyone with mobility difficulties and explain why children under 12 are not allowed. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. Hide
