We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in "A Winter's Tale". The cottage was comfortable, cosy and incredibly well appointed, with great atmosphere and incredible attention to detail throughout. We would love to return and I would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful cottage. Very good amenities ,it had everything we needed. Just be careful the doors are very low we had a few banged heads lol. The pub around the corner has great food. Nice easy walk into the centre of town. Highly recommend.

Was OK. Didn't really stay long in the cottage as weather was too nice to stay indoors. wish it had a BBQ.

The property is very impressive and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It is a short drive from Stratford upon Avon and very near to Anne Hathaway's cottage. Parking is expensive in Stratford so the park and ride is a better option. I would recommend The Bell pub in Shottery.

Winter's Tale is a beautiful unspoilt historic cottage with great character. The location is perfect for Anne Hathaway's cottage and for picking up the sightseeing bus into Stratford. It has a lovely enclosed cottage garden and is well equipped including blankets and bowls for the dog! The stairs were an issue for me with sciatica. Lovely cottage though but unfortunately we decided to cut our time there and left on Wednesday instead of Friday. The local pub serves nice good but it needed cleaning, sticky tables.

Perfect location for looking at the history of Shakespeare. The cottage felt like were living in that era, but with all the mod con's. Anne Hathaways cottage 3min walk away and plenty of walks nearby for the dogs. Steady walk to Statford on avon was only 30 mins away were most of the pubs and cafe's were very dog friendly. The lawn had not been cut for some time. Apart from that it was a lovely cottage in a good location.

Cottage was full of charm and character, it was in a great location, for Stratford centre, about a 25 minute walk, the local pub does excellent food and beers are also good , no dogs allowed. All in all this cottage really does take some beating, hope to return soon.

We loved our stay in this charming cottage. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay as well as the feeling of history with the black beams, slanting roofs and lead-light windows; a cottage full of character. It was within easy walking distance of Anne Hathaway's cottage and a short drive to Stratford upon Avon.

Simply the best cottage I have ever stayed in! Charming and quaint. You certainly feel like you have stepped into the past. Just mind your head, the doors are very low! We spent a very relaxing long weekend break. Would love to stay again!
