We have just returned from a long weekend in Stanton in Berry Cottage and this cottage was absolutely fantastic. Loved our second stay at Berry Cottage it doesn't disappoint the cottage and village are just beautiful, the walks from the cottage are splendid, the more famous surrounding villages are a short drive away. My only regret was we forgot to take a pen to write in the visitors book, so sorry to the owner. Rest assured we will be back in the future.

Dream come true! The cottage is very thoughtfully outfitted, with beautiful and homey decorative touches like wool pillows and throws, a kitchen with all the appliances you could need for a short stay (even cake!), and comfy beds. I highly recommend a car--Stanton is isolated--but directions for entering/exiting were easy to follow and the area is Read moregorgeous, with fields and walking paths and flowers galore. Berry Cottage was perfect for a dog walking holiday for two adults and 2 small /medium dogs. The Cotswold way is within 50 yards and there is easy access to a variety of walks. The cottage has character, is comfortable and the patio area is ideal for pm/evening sun (it's as you would expect relatively small and wouldn't provide a children play areaRead more). For us the cottage was ideal and the owner is very responsive to any issues. Hide

Charming cozy cottage with a beautiful fireplace set in what must surely be the prettiest village in the Cotswolds. Good village pub and plenty of walks in the area. The cottage is small so 4 adults would struggle for anything other than a short stay, not least due to the limited 'comfortable' seating in the living area. The outside space is a smalRead morel patio square, wholly overlooked by the neighbours. Not a problem if you're ok with that, and if you don't have a penchant for naked bbq's ;-) Hide

A homely, beautifully decorated and cosy cottage. Lots of extra thoughtful details - toiletries and welcome cake. Some practical issues - not really enough outside space especially if taking dogs and cottage probably suits short stay holidays due to its size.
