A short drive from Shakespeare’s birthplace with attractions to include Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Hall’s Croft, Mary Arden’s Farm and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Enjoy visiting Broadway and Chipping Campden with their traditional high street of honey coloured cottages, boutiques, antiques shops, cafes and restaurants.

The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with en-suite shower and WC. Utility room: washer/dryer and downstairs toilet and underfloor heating throughout. Outside: accessed through French doors in the kitchen is an enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ.

Walnut Barn is, in the words of Pa Larkin, "perfick". It is well placed for places of interest - Stratford upon Avon, Tewkesbury Abbey, Broadway, Bourton on the Water are all fairly close by, but just add a few more miles to your journey and you can spend the day in Oxford or Warwick. We had a wonderful week in Walnut Barn. The property has been kitted out to a very high standard and everything thoughtfully put in place. It's comfortable, clean, and well equipped whether being used as a base for days out or just getting away from the regular routine for a total relax.

Walnut Barn is a delightful barn conversion in a lovely peaceful setting. Inside the barn is spacious with plenty of room and storage space for bags etc. Couldn't find any faults at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Walnut Barn in April. Bretforton is a small but delightful village and we were fortunate to have timed our visit with the annual asparagus festival. We were able to visit Shakespeare's home too, in Stratford on Avon and found this very interesting. Fantastic barn conversion with log burner and high end finish. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is ideal, being situated close to the Cotswolds in a small quiet idyllic village. Very welcoming hosts and clean property.

We received a very warm welcome from the owner of Walnut Barn, along with some lovely home made cake and milk for our coffee. Walnut Barn is beautiful very tastefully done to a very high standard, underfloor heating, log burner, lovely shower, everything you could possibly need a real home from home. We found the mattress very firm but that is a peRead morersonal taste. The village is very pretty with a church a shop and a great pub with real fires. The cottage itself was absolutely immaculate and beautifully presented. The owners of the property were lovely and welcomed us on arrival. We would definitely stay again and would recommend this wonderful cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
