Chipping Norton is a very pleasant Cotswold town situated in the heart of Oxfordshire. Once the site of a Norman castle, Chipping Norton is the highest town in the region of Oxfordshire.

Home to the equivalent of Stonehenge, the Rollright Stones in Chipping Norton offer peace and tranquility in the form of a historical monument known to have an in-depth legendary story.

Famous for its wool and tweed production, Chipping Norton has a wide selection of pubs and inns for those traditional afternoons dining out. The town is also characterised by some interesting old buildings like Bliss Mill (now apartments), The Almshouses, and the Town Hall.

The town is situated within easy driving distance from the national road network and you could reach Bicester, Stow-on-the Wold and Tewkesbury with ease.
