A steep climb will be rewarded with stunning sea views. Stop at local pub The Anchor Inn for a refreshing pint of local ale or cider. If you’re hungry, tuck into a pulled ham, chorizo and mayo sandwich or a delicious cheese platter. If you’d like to set out on a day-long ramble, try the Brit Valley Way. This 11-mile route finishes inland at Chedington and follows the trail of the River Brit.
Boats in the harbourFor families, there are plenty of traditional seaside activities to enjoy in West Bay. Why not try crabbing in the harbour? For a more adventurous day out, try deep sea diving off the coast in the area known as The Bay of a Thousand Wrecks. In the heart of West Bay, discover independent shops, boutiques and traditional fish and chip shops.
