Taking a stroll through the sand dunes, the Northumberland Coast Path leads down to Seahouses (3.5 miles), a picturesque fishing village with a charming harbour where you can join a boat trip out to the beautiful Farne Islands, home of a colony of grey seals and thousands of puffins. Heading north, Holy Island (16 miles) is home to the remains of Lindisfarne Priory, Lindisfarne Castle and a wide array of wildlife.
