Letting in the Lake District and Cumbria
Meet the local experts with national reach
At holidaycottages.co.uk, we’re proud to have built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading holiday letting agencies with a quality collection of holiday homes throughout the Lake District.
Over the last 30 years, holiday cottage owners have benefited from exceptional booking levels by trusting our dedicated teams to let their property.
With local brands and local people who understand the Lake District market, we provide hands-on support and expertise to each of our owners in the region.
Holidaycottages.co.uk is also part of The Travel Chapter family, with a multimillion-pound marketing budget and network of unique local and lifestyle brands, allowing us to reach millions of potential guests across the UK.
The perfect combination of local expertise with national marketing is what makes us uniquely placed to deliver letting success to you.
How does our network of brands benefit you?
With holidaycottages.co.uk, you receive so much more than marketing on one of the UK’s most popular travel websites. In contrast to many other letting agencies, we have a portfolio of targeted brands that also help your property attract the attention of potential guests when they’re searching online.

National and local
Our flagship brand holidaycottages.co.uk is a leading name in the UK travel industry, while our local websites Lakeland Hideaways and The Lakeland Cottage Company are well-positioned in the local market for customers who know exactly what they’re looking for.
Dog-friendly
The draw of the outdoors makes the Lake District one of our most popular destinations for dog-walkers. Our dedicated Canine Cottages website, one of the UK’s leading dog-friendly accommodation brands, helps your property reach this growing market, appearing prominently in Google searches.
Farm cottages
For many years, farm diversification into holiday letting has become a reliable additional income stream for the farming community in the Lakes, and our niche brand farmholidays.co.uk helps farm cottages take a deserved slice of this popular market.
