Nestled in a beautiful rural position on a working beef and sheep grassland farm. Guest are welcome to explore the farmland through the established tracks, help feed the lambs and collect the chickens eggs. The farm is located in the stunning North Pennines, perfect for all outdoor pursuits and is located directly on the coast to coast famous Waskerley Way. Fisherman will also be delighted with the nearby Waskerley and Derwent Reservoirs. Golfers can enjoy an array of local courses including the renowned course at Slaley Hall. Visit the nearby picture post card village of Blanchland. Explore the World Heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall or travel a little further afield and visit the historic towns of Hexham and Corbridge.

Entering the property through to the light and bright stylish lounge area with TV/DVD and wood burner effect electric fire, ideal for cosy nights in. Next is the snug area great fun for all the family with, TV, board games and books to enjoy. This room is followed by the well-quipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dining area perfect for family gatherings. Completing the ground floor is the utility room with washing machine and rear door access to the garden and the separate WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you are met with the lovely master double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC, followed by the super-king-size zip-and link (which can be made into a twin on request). Next is the stylish, spacious bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Finally, competing the accommodation is the light and bright twin bedroom.

Venturing outside to the gravelled seating areas with picnic table and charcoal BBQ, ideal for al fresco dining and to enjoy the views over the beautiful countryside, perhaps with a good local ale or a nice glass of wine. There is also an abundance of wildlife and birds that visit the garden. There is ample off-road parking available directly at the rear of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A warm stylish and welcoming cottage with fantastic hosts. Diane and Simon both went out of their ways to make sure we all had a great holiday. We could not have asked for more caring people. Highly recommend this cottage and hope to return in the future.

The cottage is so pretty and in immaculate condition, but also child and dog-friendly. We so enjoyed being on the farm itself. The cottage has lots of DVDs and board games to play. Our hosts had good recommendations for pubs and farm shops nearby and places to visit. Thank you for making us so welcome.
