Cottage was really comfortable even for four adults. Showers were hot and never ran cold. Loved the general layout of the cottage and the location. Hot tub brilliant......after we figured out how to work it! Bedrooms were comfortable and cottage was clean. Would definitely consider going back!!

The Acorn retreat was lovely warm cosy and being set away from the other lodges on its own was a big plus for us.

Lovely lodge , everything you need , clean , Hot tub was a hit for everyone. Very quiet location, you need a car .... but a short drive to shops , and other activities .

The site of Acorn Retreat was perfect in every way. Whilst the overall site had cabins side-by-side, the Acorn Retreat stood isolated half way up the hill. It was secluded and seeing we were only the third family to use it, everything was new. The hot tub was heaven. Location wise you're just ten minutes from Coniston village which is ideal. Loads Read moreof walks and lakeside activity especially for the dogs who swam everyday. Highly recommended Hide

The Acorn Retreat lodge was perfect, with all mod cons and wifi available, the hot tub is a great plus and our children loved it. The location is nice and quiet with limited traffic which was ideal for our needs. We will definitely consider returning.
