Had a brilliant week. The cottage was very central and convenient for shops and pubs in Hawkshead. Also lots of walks from the cottage so didn't always have to take car out. Very cosy and ideal for me as I was staying by myself.

We had a lovely week and the cottage is very well placed for visiting the lakes. Enjoyed a 4 night stay at this lovely cottage. This is an ideal cottage for 2 people. It was clean and well equipped. The owners have made sure that everything is available for an enjoyable stay and it is one of the nicest we have stayed in. The availability of the parking place at the rear is a real bonus in Hawkshead with parking limited in this Read moresmall village. The garden was lovely, even in January, with bird feeders and a small grassed area. All in all it was perfect for our short break and we thank the owners for making it available for use. The letting agents Hideaways provided a very efficient service and their information book at the cottage was full of valuable information. We would love to stay again when the time comes. Hide

We have been staying in Hawkshead using Hideaways cottages for a good few years now but this was our first time in Angel Cottage as the other properties we have stayed in were not available. We were not disapointed. The cottage was ideal for the two of us. Very comfortable & handy for the village. I have booked this cottage again for next year!!
