This stylish well-presented property, benefits from magnificent mountain and forest views. Nestled in an elevated position on the edge of a private family run park. Just a short stroll to the splendid Coniston Water.

Located only 4 miles to the beautiful picture post card village of Coniston, just a short stroll from Coniston Water, in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Water sports enthusiasts will be delighted with Coniston Water, perfect for sailing, canoeing, or enjoy a leisure cruise on the wonderful steam yacht 'Gondola’. The lake also offers excellent fishing opportunities for trout, char, pike and perch. Walkers, mountain bikers and hikers are also very well catered for with the famous Old Man of Coniston and the fabulous woodland trails at Grizedale Forest to explore. Making this a fantastic base to explore this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Leisure Facilities: Private Hot tub.

The single storey accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 twin and 1 double with en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom with shower over bath and WC, which is also accessed from the hallway. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with TV and patio door leading out to enclosed balcony with seating area. Kitchen area, with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility room: shared, with washing machine, tumble dryer, vending machine and fridge/freezer, located next to the property. Outside: enclosed balcony with seating area and decked area with hot tub, within large private lodge park grounds. Amenities: off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Location: shops, restaurants 4 miles and pub 2 miles. Arrival: 4pm.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Nice lodge not overlooked and is down a country lane opposite Coniston Lake and is in easy reach of attractions in local area.Ulverston nearby has a nice supermarket and if you go into this town to traffic lights and turn left in the back road to Barrow and Bardsea there is a nice place to walk the dog on the river (estuary).

Brilliant week. The lodge was fab with a lovely feel, very spacious and the location is extremely peaceful and relaxing. Lovely hot tub and small patio area out the back for a barbeque which was great and my children loved going in the hot tub every evening.

Perfect for a peaceful get away, definitely need a car but it's no problem, perfect base to stay if your kyaking on the lake, access just two min drive down the road with,perfect walk in access to coniston lake.

Was exactly what was expected, relaxing. Hot tub was excellent and private (which some others weren't) second bedroom was small but fine. Tell them before you go if you want It setting up as a double.

The lodge is well positioned near to lake Coniston. The bluebird cafe and the site around it is well worth a visit, nice and peaceful. Our dog loved playing in the lake and being outdoors on the many walks. The lodge was clean and well equipped, the only thing you will require is your food and clothing. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the sRead moreite to others. Hide

The cottage was beautiful, so clean and tidy and lovely. The location was a little far away from everything so wouldn't recommend if you are not wanting to drive anywhere. Also there is a hot tub at the back of the property however there are no lights out there and there are steps leading down to the garden area so felt very dangerous there needs tRead moreo be a light out there. This is a clean, well presented and fitted timber lodge. The heating and lighting are of a high standard and there is ample hot water. This elevated lodge had a feeling of privacy and not overlooked though the site had several similar lodges in quite a small area.
