Beautifully presented, well furnished and in an ideal spot for visiting the sights of South Lakes. The view from the windows was stunning, and the little balcony was a gem!

Broomriggs is the most amazing place to stay. We have stayed in several different apartments there over a period of ten years and have never been disappointed. The views over the lake are breath taking.

Feel very lucky we chose 7 Broomriggs. From the moment we arrived everything was just perfect. The view will take your breath away and the apartment met all of our needs being homely and clean - loved the table tennis table in the garden... nice touch. The grounds are just stunning!

The flat and property are set in beautiful, quintessential English grounds, located in the heart of the Lakes. There are walks from the property, so one can leave the car behind and enjoy the beauty of the place by foot.

Despite the beginning of March and a mid week break, the flat was warm as we entered. The new double glazed windows are so efficient. Alan had filled the bird feeder below the window and we saw tits, nuthatches and woodpeckers. The flat was comfortable, well equipped and the views from the first floor were fantastic. We had one day walking with bluRead moree skies and warm enough not to need gloves. We seemed to see the spring flowers opening through the day. The second walking day was very misty so we enjoyed some moody lowland walking. Such a refreshing stay. Thank you. Hide

We had a perfect week at Broomriggs 7. It was our first visit and we will definitely return. Comfortable, well equipped with beautiful gardens. The rowing boats on the Lake are a great bonus- we saw Ospreys, Herons and Cormorants close up. The location is very peaceful but has good access to many beautiful walks. We recommend Rydal Mount, WordswortRead moreh's home, walks along Lake Windermere and Coniston and the drive over the Kirkstone pass. Hide

Yet another fine holiday at Broomriggs - yes we even had good weather! Number 7 gives especially good views of that gorgeous scenery, and it's always a pleasure to return, as we've done many times.
