Comfortable and convenient. Good size kitchen/dining room. No downstairs loo but a shower room for each bedroom. Good showers. Steep and narrow stairs especially to second floor. Small but well stocked co-op a few yards away. Parking available on site but very tight for larger cars. We used thee free parking permit in the carpark a couple of hundreRead mored yards away. Hide

Copper Tops was the perfect cottage for our stay, it is within walking distance of everything in Hawkshead and ideal for a family stay, with good size rooms. The bedrooms are lovely, especially the attic room which our Son & Daughter in Law loved because we offered to get up with the 19 month old twins whilst they had a lie in. We would definitely Read morebook this cottage again. Hide

The location of this property is excellent. Hawkshead is a stunning location. The property has potential with high ceilings and parking but the decor and facilities are tired and rundown, which is a shame.

This is our 6th time at Coppertops. We love being able to tumble out of the door into the middle of a beautiful Lakeland village with 4 pubs, a Co-op, a Post office, numerous coffee bars and lovely shops.

Great location, but its a bit sparse and not particularly homely.

The property is very well located only a few steps away from the shops, pubs and restaurants in Hawkshead. We found it clean and well equipped in both the kitchen (gas hob and electric oven) and living room with wifi, a large TV with Sky Freeview and a DVD player. The bedrooms are upstairs, two on the first floor (one with en-suite shower room) andRead more a third on the second floor, again with en-suite facilities). There is a third toilet and shower room on the first floor. Adequate storage in the bedrooms. The steps are quite steep so may not suit anyone with mobility problems. A bag of foodie treats (biscuits, jam, marmalade, teabags, coffee) was left by Lakelands Hideaways which was very welcome. We really enjoyed the stay at Copper Tops. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Hide

All you could need. Right where you want it........A very comfortable and well appointed property right near the heart of Hawkshead. The quality of the furnishings etc was first class and each of the three bedrooms having its own bathroom was a bonus, as was the availability of a parking pass for a second car.
