What a lovely homely environment. Perfect setting for dog walks up the hill (not too steep) and a really well equipped home with everything we needed. Enjoyed the log burner & had a great break!

Great location, we had a week here and enjoyed the tranquility of the place. There was plenty of room for every one. The owner was very discreet and we never saw him apart from when we wanted information. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quality place to stay.

Lovely cottage, good location for attractions of the lakes

The cottage was very cosy and comfortable, and also surprisingly large! The location is great if you are coming up from the south/London as it's not far from the M6.

Large comfortable property. Good welcome from owner. Private cottage tucked away from the main road, A590. Situation convenient for trips out. Grange -over- Sands and Cartmel were unexpected treasures.

This cottage is a home from home: spacious; fully equipped; comfortable. It is set back from a busy main road (with a tight turning!) but it is very conveniently located for the lakes and the coast. The brook at the side is gorgeous, the walk up the back stunning, and the utility room perfect for all things wet and muddy! We loved it here and wouldRead more definitely stay again. Hide

Great cottage, the setting is lovely with a nice garden and a babbling brook through the grounds. Yes it's off a busy dual carriageway but it's set far enough back that you don't really notice. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance and a hike up the hill behind to the fell which gives a nice view of the surrounding area.
