The cottage was lovely, quirky with uneven floors which caused much hilarity with our party. Lovely and clean and very warm.

The cottage was in a great location in the center of Hawkshead. The bathrooms and kitchen were nicely updated and overall the cottage was clean and very pleasant. As with many of the older buildings, there were many low spots where you might hit your head if you arent careful and uneven floors, but this is to be expected in an older building. OveraRead morell this was a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Lake District. Hide

Lovely quaint cottage ideally situated just off the main square in picturesque Hawkshead close to facilities ( eateries, cafes, post office & co-op) The cottage catered for our needs and our family had a great weekend

A well equipped comfortable and warm cottage. Lounge/diner and kitchen quite small but enough for us five adults & a dog. Four pubs, three+ cafes and a grocers within a few hundred yards is a boon. A washer/dryer is listed but it's actually only a washer. Providing coal for the fire was a nice touch. Be aware that there is no outside space if that'Read mores important to you: the parking is in a public car park a short distance away. We would certainly be happy to stay there again. Hide
