We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Low Dale Park Cottage and with an 18month old baby in tow, we had to be careful about our choice of destination - we were not disappointed! Beautifully secluded cottage with absolutely everything you could need included. The only drawback was that the garden was not attached to the property, which meant we couldn't just open the door to let the dog out, and he couldn't come and go as he pleased. The cottage had everything we needed and the large enclosed garden was perfect for our two cairn terriers and with no sheep in the immediate vicinity this made for a very relaxed stay. We would gladly come back , I'm sure an off season break would be very cosy with the open fire, kindling and logs supplied foc.

Had an excellent week, cool for the Lakes but no fault of the cottage! Did think a wood burner, from my own experience, would be more economical and give off more heat. Good walled orchard for letting dog out.
