The first of these is a lovely light and airy twin room, which can be made up as a king-size on request. The second room is a double, whilst the third is a cosy single room. There is ample off-road parking provided for two cars and bike storage is available in the barn.

Warm, clean, well equipped and charming. Everything you need for spending time with kids and dogs. Brilliant safe and huge enclosed garden which both dog and kids were safe in. We spent Christmas week here and we did not need for anything. It's not a five star hotel room so don't go expecting that, but a lovely little home. Will be back!

We loved Manor House Cottage. The location is secluded and private. The garden is beautiful and so peaceful; perfect for families. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and access to the house through the log shed was ideal for storing bikes and buddy boots! We will definately stay here again

Perfectly situated near Wray Castle in the wilderness and just enough off the beaten track to make a hideaway. Ticked all the boxes for a cosy winter cottage. We will return!

We loved our week here. Couldn't have asked for a better location, all the walks and cycles from the door. The endless supply of logs was much needed for the fire thanks as we had snow and frost. Everything we needed and more, thank you.

The garden is great for dogs. We would highly recommend Manor House Cottage and are planning on staying for 2 weeks next year, the staff at Lakeland Hideaways are very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area and always on hand to offer help and advice.
