A very comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a fantastic location. Everything was clean and modern and the garden had a great view and was in the sun in the afternoon and evening. There are a number of steps up to the cottage but this means that whilst you are in the village it is very quiet and you are unaware of the traffic or tourists.

Excellent cottage, we were blown away with how nice the place was when we arrived and the location is perfect for walking and all other activities in the area. The cottage is very cosy and well equipped, everything you need. Loved it and will definitely be returning

I would recommend North Cottage to anyone. Loved it so much I wish I could live in it forever. Fab location, spotless cottage and so cozy. Great communication and customer service from both the owner and from holiday cottages - we even extended our stay as we loved it so much. I'll definitely book again

The cottage is in a great location right in the middle of town, but because it is high up it is very quite & peaceful. Had everything we needed for a lovely romantic stay.

Amazing location, close to shops and food! Very spacious property with great views. Also the parking permit was very handy as could use all over the Lake District. Very good place to stay. Thank you.

An exceedingly comfortable cottage, the kitchen has every appliance you could ever need. Great location, great views of Ambleside and convenient for several fantastic & welcoming pubs & restaurants. Don't be put off by the lack of on site parking. You get a parking permit valid at many public car parks in the area. Closest car park is about 400 ydsRead more away. I have a feeling this was just the first of many stays. Hide

Really lovely cottage in a perfect location. No parking but the fact they provide a parking pass for Ambleside car parks gets around that perfectly. Will definitely be back. Stunning views and so handy to be in the centre of Ambleside. Cottage has everything you need and lovely options for food just seconds away on foot
