We found this a delightful place to stay. The location was perfect for exploring the area around Esthwaite , the two Sawreys and down to Windermere on foot and Hawkshead and Tarn Hows were a short drive away. The management company superb; the welcome pack of goodies and useful bits for the kitchen were lovely touches. We did feel the layout with aRead moren upstairs lounge a little odd and the owners have neglected the place. However, we'd still return. Hide

Cosy and warm cottage in a very pretty part of Lake District. Lovely kitchen, very peaceful surroundings but near enough to civilisation if needed just across the ferry! Fabulous main bedroom. We have been going to Sawrey for over 60 years and never tire of the area and will hopefully continue to enjoy holidays for many years to come.
