We have enjoyed this cottage more than most and we have done a fair few over the past nine years. The house is really very homely and has a really nice atmosphere, the garden is great for dogs and humans and the location is to die for. We were sorry to leave at the end of our week where as usually we are ready for home, we will be back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lodge over half-term. It is in a beautiful secluded location, which was perfect for wandering down to the lake for a swim, and then a brisk stomp back up through the trees to warm up!
