Good kitchen, comfortable downstairs with two TVs so if children want / need to be in another room, you can do it. Great view from master bedroom. Shop and pub on the doorstep, bijou Brinscall Baths just down the road, path up onto the moors at the end of the street.

A very comfortable and well appointed cottage. Whilst the cottage is in a village with amenities that include a shop, two pubs, a Post Office and a swimming pool, the location is very peaceful. The countryside around is great for walking and it was lovely to return to a cozy cottage. We plan to return.

Lovely village with a lake, playground and swimming pool and access to the moors at the bottom of the main Street (800yds away). Lovely views of large pond, sheep, cows, chickens and more distant moorland. The house was small enough to be cosy, but large enough that the 4 of us had plenty of space to be alone. We even entertained 4 friends to dinneRead morer and it still had room! Lovely wood/coal burning stove to cosy up in front of while watching the tv . Beautifully modernised but retaining charm. Hide

The cottage was in an excellent location, near amenities and good walking. The decor was lovely and the bedroom window was spectacular. It was nice to be welcomed and shown round by the owner before we were left to enjoy our stay. Only a text away for any questions.

Ideal location for wearing your walking boots. Loads of local walks, through woods over the tops and along the Leeds Liverpool canal. Not too far from Southport, Clitheroe, Skipton and the Forest of Bowland. Wonderful scenery, especially in good weather.

A well equipped cottage in a picturesque location with lovely views from the back garden. The cottage is well located for access to many attractions including Southport, Liverpool and Blackpool. The Cricketers Arms across the road has a pleasant beer garden although it doesn't serve food and there is a convenient shop and chip shop closeby. The conRead moreservatory is a nice relaxing space and the back garden is a lovely area to sit out in and enjoy a barbecue. Highly recommended!! Hide
