Sat right next to a flourishing nature reserve these impressive contemporary homes which are all new in 2016 offer you true tranquillity. Ideally placed for walkers, adventure seekers or those who just want to relax amongst the countryside in all its unspoilt glory.

These new lodges are situated near Carnforth which is ideal for exploring what the Lake District and Lancashire have to offer. They are positioned in a quieter part the holiday resort yet a stone’s throw away you’ll have access to all the great facilities of the top quality resort where you will find stunning lakes and scenery surrounded by excellent walks, nature trails and beautiful scenery. Morecambe Bay is within easy visiting distance. Resting close to Lune Valley, on the edges of Lancashire and the Lake District National Park, the historic villages of Silverdale and Arnside are only a short trip away. The RSPB at Leighton Moss is well worth a tour, Docker Farm Park and Lancaster Museum are just 4 miles away.

Leisure facilities: Access to parks’ health and fitness centre with gymnasium, heated indoor swimming pool. Beauty spa and steam room. Large lake open to sailing boats and small craft and onsite fishing. Outside: patio area with furniture. Amenities: off road parking. Bed linen, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 dog welcome. Additional info: Passes for leisure facilities can be purchased directly from main reception office. Some plots on the park are not yet occupied, meaning from time to time there may be new lodges being delivered. Travel cots and high chairs are available to hire, payable locally- £7 per short break/ £14 per week each. Leisure facilities and food and beverage outlets operate restricted opening times over Christmas and New Year, with full closures on Christmas day, boxing day and New Year’s day. Location: beach, shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant within walking distance.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with W/C and 1 small twin. Shower room and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with TV and DVD. Kitchen area, with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

This was a basic caravan and we expected a lodge. It was warm and cosy but we couldn't access the swimming pool as it cost too much. Sadly the weather outside was poor. The site was quiet and peaceful and very dog friendly. Supermarkets very close were a welcome surprise restaurant on site appeared expensive but we preferred to eat in the van. Bed Read morewas extremely comfortable but the lounge wasn't. Hide

The cottage was like new, very clean and comfortable. Nice peaceful retreat and a great base location for exploring the southern Lake District. Very happy with our stay.

Lovely, peaceful place to stay. Location of the property is just off the M6 which makes everything in the surrounding areas easy to get to. There is a restaurant and bar just across the road on the park which serves great food and drink reasonably priced. Our lodge overlooked a small pond where we had ducks visiting regularly. Had the best 4 nightsRead more sleep! Not a sound, apart from the bird that decided to wake us up early one morning banging his beak on the glass, that did make us laugh tho! Hide

Excellent location for walks, wildlife and bird watching as Leighton Moss is within a few miles where we spent the afternoon watching a young female Osprey
