Loved the place, the extras were very nice. Well equipped nice location. Could have been cleaner - down side of fridge was filthy and covered in sand. Lots of cobwebs. But didnt affect overall holiday. No designated parking saying where to park like other cottages and someone kept parking in our space so no where to park!

We stayed in this cottage for two weeks. It is small but very cosy. We liked the interior maritime style. A well prepared kitchen , where we cooked a few times. The beds are all comfortable, the bathrooms big enough. We all slept good, because around the cottage is not much traffic. It is only a short walk to the beach, the harbour or to the main sRead moretreet with all the shops and restaurants. Hide

A great location close by the harbour in the old part of the village, close to all the amenities but still quiet. The cottage is comfortable, although modernised it retains much of its character, and is suitable for either a family or two couples.

The cottage was very comfortable, warm and welcoming. Parking is at the back of the property and in March it was fine but could be a little tight. Really good location to the village. Bed in in main bedroom was really comfortable, the shower in the en-suite could do with a new showerhead but is lovely and warm. Would deffently go to this cottage agRead moreain. Hide

Found a lovely welcome pack plus fire laid ready to light. Cottage in good location short walk to shops and harbour pub. Nice and clean with lovely bedding and towels. Nice comfortable lounge with dinning table. Bit of a tight squeeze to get through arch if you have a large car or VW van as we do just have to take it slow

Highly recommend this property once all the surrounding building work has been completed.

Great location and well equipped! We have never had such a good welcome pack, which went well beyond essentials of milk and bread. The downstairs would benefit from an end of season deep clean-I lost count of the cobwebs and floors were a bit grubby! But it didn't spoil the overall good time we had there.

Cottage is great its clean and has everything you need. The milk, bread and wine were great. The local beaches and coastal walks are wonderful, particularly Ross Sands and Bamburgh Beach. Cheviot Hills are also lovely. Boat trips to the Lighthouse with George on the Golden Gate are fantastic too.

Corner cottage is a lovely cosy cottage very well positioned for town and for walks. We enjoyed the walk to Bamburgh along the beach, Alnwick Castle and Cragside.

Corner Cottage is an excellent location for walking as close to the Coastal path and beaches. Close to all amenities in the town. Despite being located in the town it was very quiet, unfortunately no views though. Visited Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster, Lovely walk to the castle, very impressive.
