This charming detached period property is located in a peaceful tranquil setting and benefits from magnificent sea and countryside views, with Holy Island on the horizon, close to all local amenities.

This cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It's nearby Berwick-upon-Tweed, a medieval town with plenty of things to do, and it's also close to the seaside village of Bamburgh. History lovers will enjoy visiting the castle there, which can be seen from the window, as well as Alnwick Castle, used in the Harry Potter film series. For those who love the outdoors, there's the Northumberland National Park, Glendale and the Cheviot hills which provide excellent walking, hiking and biking. If the view from the cottage isn't enough, you can take a trip to Lindisfarne across the tidal causeway or take a boat trip and try sea fishing or bird watching.

On the ground floor there is a gorgeous open plan living area with a dining table, next to patio doors overlooking the countryside, and a cosy sitting room area with a wood burner. The kitchen has everything needed to enjoy cooking while with friends and family. The cottage has a handy utility room with washing machine and bike store. The wooden beams and doors make this property feel really special. On the ground floor there is a king-size bedroom with en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom with shower over a bath and WC, which can be accessed from the kitchen too. There's also a twin room which can be made into a king-size on request.

Outside there is a large private garden, with beautiful views of the countryside. Perfect for families, with lots of space on the lawn to play, there is also a patio area and a barbecue for outdoor dining when the sun shows its face. Off road parking is available, as is improved accessibility to the property.

Fabulous location, deluxe equipment, thoughtful and helpful owners. Quiet and relaxing. However, the advertised view from the property was blocked by the height of the oil seed rape crop in the field!

This is a beautiful and well equipped cottage and with thoughtful added extras - such as Prosecco and Brownies on arrival. Wonderfully located for exploring the coast. We enjoyed a great family long weekend.

We felt so at home as soon as we walked threw the door beautifully furnished and everything and more you needed for a self catering holiday. Wonderful views and lots to see and do around the area. I can't recommend Kyloe Church Cottage highly enough. We absolutely loved our stay and my only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We've stayed at many rental homes over the years and this is by far and above the most immaculate and well stocked home - it had everything you would expect in your own house. The setting was picturesque - my chiRead moreldren loved the chickens running around and my husband and I loved the amazing water views. We can only hope to return one day! Hide

The thing that sold it for us was the view: down to the coast and across to Holy Island. The cottage itself is warm and cosy and just what we needed for a relaxing week.

This is an excellent cottage set in beautiful countryside. My partner and myself had one of the most relaxing holidays here. On arrival we found a bottle of Prosecco and some homemade cheese biscuits. This was a really nice gesture and the biscuits tasted amazing. The cottage is stunning, the decoration is of a high standard and the kitchen had eveRead morerything you we need. The bedrooms were very good, beds comfortable and at night there is silence outside. Perfect location and space to totally unwind and relax from the stresses of daily life. The cottage is stunning with every need catered for. The living space is hugely comfortable. We literally could see both Lindisfarne and Bamburgh castles - what a treat. We could have stayed for months on end! Thank you.

We fell in love with the cottage the moment we walked through the front door. The interior was beautifully finished and it was always warm and cosy. We particularly loved the wood stove, the open-plan airy feel, the amazing views and the friendly chickens who regularly greeted us at the front door.

The information and parking peRead morermit supplied by the owners was incredibly helpful, and made our stay much more enjoyable. Hide
