Whinneycook Cottage was fabulous. I don't think we have ever stayed in such a well appointed and creatively laid out holiday property before. The property adjoins thRead moree owners house, but we never felt overlooked and the cottage benefits from the extra security of the owners electronic gates. Hide

A lovely cottage, bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and a lovely kitchen/ lounge upstairs which leads out onto an outside space with furniture on astro turf. Very private with views of the countryside around. In a good location with easy access to the main routes. A small Coop store a short walk away was very handy

A fabulous cottage, very comfortable and private, with great views. Well placed for getting out and about, 5 minutes drive to the sand dunes, 6 miles to Morpeth, 16 miles to Alnwick. Out of the back gate of the property, and straight onto a dog walk. We went for a week, and enjoyed every minute of it.
