This beautiful lodge offers stunning far-reaching Highland views and is ideally situated for visiting Inverness, Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and many other fantastic attractions.

This attractive lodge lies in the idyllic village of Cannich, close to the popular town of Beauly. There’s an excellent local pub/restaurant only a stone’s throw away, making this the perfect base for exploring this beautiful and fascinating part of the Scottish Highlands. Among the many attractions nearby are the world famous Loch Ness and exhibition centre, Urquhart Castle, Glen Affric, Strathglass, Dog Falls, the MTB Centre at Glenurqhart, Guisachan House, Plodda Falls, Glen Strath Farrar, Moniack Castle (Highland Winery), Black Isles and the Glen Ord Distillery. Inverness is less than an hour away, and offers a fantastic choice of shops, pubs and restaurants.

On entering this airy and spacious single-level lodge, you will find yourself in the attractive and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. You will find the cosy and bright lounge is the ideal space to relax, offering stunning views, and is equipped with TV/DVD. There’s also a dining area ideally situated for you to admire the country views. Moving over to the stylishly designed kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with everything you may need including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer. Exploring this lovely property further, you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There’s a cosy king-size room and a comfy bunk bedroom. You will also find a shower room complete with WC.

Stepping outside, you can unwind and relax in the pretty enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and which offers breathtaking country views. The pub/restaurant, local shop and Post Office are all just a short stroll away.

 

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

  • Additional info: The Wi-Fi in the pub/restaurant is good most of the time but can be affected by the weather or user traffic therefore owners have hardwired all the cabins to allow ethernet access just in case. To use Wi-Fi  in the cabins, you would need to bring a unit with an ethernet port

The log cabin is warm and comfortable with ample space for a family and their dogs. Electricity is paid for by a token meter it cost us 10 pounds for the week. The Slaters Arms is a great place to eat, food was homely and of a very high quality, with a warm welcome from staff and dogs alike. There is a Spar and post office next door, great views anRead mored walking opportunities close to Glen Affric. Well worth travelling the 600miles to get there. 10/10, thank you Angela. Hide

Affric Lodge is in a stunning location with views all round and very close to many walks around Glen Affric. The lodge itself is airy and comfortable and well equipped. The owners/managers also ran the Slater's Arms which is in front of the four lodges. They were very friendly and helpful and provided us with some superb home cooked evening meals iRead moren their restaurant. We would love to go back as there is so much to do and see in the area.
