This is 1 of 3 beautiful and traditional lodges in the scenic village of Cannich with stunning far-reaching Highland country views, close to Loch Ness.

This delightful lodge is situated in the picturesque village of Cannich near to the town of Beauly, with the charming local pub/restaurant situated nearby, making this a fantastic base to explore this charming corner of Scotland. The vibrant and popular city of Inverness is less than an hour away, offering a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are numerous attractions close by including the world famous Loch Ness and exhibition centre, Urquhart Castle, Glen Affric, Strathglass, Dog Falls, the MTB Centre at Glenurqhart, Guisachan House, Plodda Falls, Glen Strath Farrar, Moniack Castle (Highland Winery), Black Isles and the Glen Ord Distillery. This is one of three beautiful detached properties each set in private enclosed garden grounds.

On entering this delightful single-level accommodation you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The inviting and attractive lounge is an ideal space to relax in, complete with TV/DVD and offering stunning views. You will also find an ideally situated dining area, and the stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer. Exploring this attractive property further you will find two comfy bedrooms. There’s a cosy king-size room and a comfortable bunk bedroom. You will also find a shower room complete with WC.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the charming enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and which offers spectacular country views. The pub/restaurant, shop and Post Office are all just a short stroll away. Trout fishing, salmon fishing and pony trekking are all available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Cougie lodge was a great location for exploring Scotland. It was perfect for the dogs, the owners had 3 dogs and made ours very welcome. The Slaters Arms next door served excellent meals. Would definitely go back again

Great Log Cabin just right for touring the area. Good if you have a dog. Owners very welcoming and good meals at the Slater Arms. Would highly recommend.

We had a great quiet stay at cougie lodge, great scenery and remote location and pleasant walks ,, we had everything we needed and shop and pub a few yards away,, please check on pub opening days as we stayed in winter and not open all week,, Hosts very nice and helpful,, and electric cards available from hosts in slaters arms at various costs ie 5Read more.00 0r 10.00,,and will probably use less in summer as we had heating on all the time as was very cold at the time,, Thanks for good stay,,, Hide
