Excellent location overlooking the loch. The conservatory is brilliant, you can sit and watch life and wildlife go by without getting wet or blown away if the weather is bad. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you could need. You need to be self sufficient as there aren't many places to eat out. Lovely quiet location, great views and plenty of sheep to keep you amused, locals friendly and helpful. Cape Wrath is worth a visit but try to choose a nice day. Conservatory on the cottage an absolute boon on a rotten day you can look out without getting wet and see the changing scene as the clouds lift and descend. Great

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with beautiful scenery this is the cottage for you. It is remote which adds to the charm and removes from 21st century stresses! We would recommend this holiday property to anyone who loves the outdoors, fantastic views, great countryside including some very remote areas, exploring, birding and driving (the North Coast 500 is a fantastic scenic road). The cottage is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The sun room is great with great views out over the loch. The OlRead mored School restaurant just up the road is excellent and pretty good value. Overall we had a great week here. Hide

Tidy warm (central heating and wood burner) homely little cottage, sun room great all day but especially during the day when the views are tremendous. Great walking all around, beach and hill. Be self sufficient, not lots of entertainment available locally, you need to create your own but I guess if you are heading up here you know this! Great for Read moredogs, enclosed garden a real advantage. Steep stairs so not good for infirm and very young would need watching. Hide

The cottage is in a fantastic location with stunning views. Inside the cottage was nice though needs it some TLC.
