The Old School provided us with a great base for our holiday in Scotland. Jim and Mary were brilliant hosts and so helpful with ideas for activities for our children as well as days out further afield. The garden is wonderful, with all its different areas and is a real credit to the owners. Highly recommended! Hide

This was our third summer holiday running here, and this year we had outstandingly better weather - albeit with a few more midges than before, but nothing like as bad as the west side of the Highlands and not a problem. As I have saRead moreid before, the owners may live next door but it's a real bonus as they are always very respectful of privacy whilst being extremely helpful. Hide

The old school house was very well presented and equipped, parking was not a problem for two vehicles. The gardens attached are extremely well tended with the outside seating areas well equipped with tables and chairs. The owners, who live next door, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay.
