This traditional fisherman's cottage is beautifully situated on the sea front of this picturesque Wester Ross village and enjoys wonderful views of the sea loch, coast and surrounding mountains.

The house is well-maintained offering a humble and comfortable home from home in a magnificent location. With a enclosed field within a couple of minutes from the shoreline, the cottage is situated in the popular village of Shieldaig with its small harbour and Torridon Sea Tours and excursions. Located amongst the spectacular rugged scenery of Torridon, famous for its mountains, geology and wildlife it is a great way to explore the West Highlands, or go further onto Applecross peninsula, the Isle of Skye, Loch Maree, Gairloch and Poolewe.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: each bedroom has a double and single bed. Bathroom: shower over bath with WC and handbasin. Lounge: flat screen freeview TV, DVD player. Dining Room: Kitchen: electric oven, hob, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Outside: enclosed field to the front and rear with the shoreline just across the street. Amenities: electric heating, linen and towels included. 1 well behaved dog welcome. Additional info: Wi-Fi available at the local hotel/pub close by. Location: local pub, shop and seafront within walking distance, Lochcarron 14 miles away, Strathcarron train station 30 minutes and Armadale ferry crossing 1.5 hours away. Arrival: 4pm

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

This is our ninth year in a row at this cottage. It is ideally situated in the village with a wonderful view from the front door and would highly recommend it for a great holiday.

Lovely comfortable cottage, the views are spectacular and surrounding area stunning. Although the cottage is old fashioned it suited us perfectly with our doggy. Great pub and restaurant just down the road. The weather couldn't have been worse, we used our time mainly in the car driving to different villages. The internet would have come in handy tRead moreo investigate things to do in the constant rain. We've now realised how handy it is so would only book a cottage with this facility in future. Hide

This is a cottage in a wonderful location. It has super views and is close to a lovely pub and restaurant. The cottage itself is comfortable but not 5 star. It is a good place to bring a dog.
