This cottage is perfectly situated; wonderful and ever-changing views (it took about 5 minutes to walk past any of the windows). The cottage was warm and comfortable, and spacious enough for a group. Shieldag is a great base for touring/walking/ exploring. The pub served great food and everyone I met was very friendly.

Comfortable, very well stocked cottage - generous supply of towels and basics. Well situated in the centre of the village. Lovely views. A bit old fashioned. Only drawback - no wifi!

I'm selfish and won't give a review - the cottage could be booked next time I want to be there otherwise.

Victoria Cottage is a delightful base from which to explore this wonderful area of Scotland. The cottage was warm and cosy, the beds were comfortable , and the kitchen was well equipped. Excellent food is served at Coastal Kitchen, a very short walk away, & the village store, also nearby, is adequately stocked.
