This 18th century semi-detached cottage is perfectly located for enjoying both the coastline and wonderful countryside, all close to your doorstep.

Enjoy the picturesque village of Dunster, 2 miles away, with the castle and numerous galleries and cafes to explore. The beaches at Dunster, Blue Anchor and Minehead are all within a few miles with Minehead offering a choice of shops and Somerset World. The cottage is situated within the Exmoor National Park, famed for some of the most breathtaking scenery in the South West and a haven for walkers and wildlife. Other attractions well worth a visit include the Valley of the Rocks, West Somerset Steam Railway, Lynton and Lynmouth with its water powered cliff railway, the Brendon and Quantock Hills and much more. Relax in a choice of front or back gardens, with the back garden having feature decking and lovely views.

The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: on the first floor accessed via a wooden staircase, 1 double with TV, 1 twin and 1 single. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Separate WC downstairs. Lounge: with woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV and DVD. Dining room: area with iPod dock/radio and patio doors leading to decking and garden. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Utility room: with washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: enclosed garden accessed via steps from decking with seating. Amenities: parking for 1 car, with on street parking down the road for additional vehicles. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no pets. This is a no smoking property. Location: beach 3 miles, shop 1 mile, pub 0.5 miles.

Great location with amazing views across the hills including beautiful sunsets from the veranda at the back of the cottage. Garden has space for kids to play and cottage has everything you need. A great base to explore exmoor and the coast.

This cottage would be ideal for people who enjoy walking or hiking. It is in a remote area with nothing within walking distance. I would not recommend it for elderly people or anyone with mobility problems. There are several steep steps from the gate down to the path which are difficult to climb up when leaving the cottage and the stairs are very sRead moreteep and narrow. Not ideal for small children either. The views were idyllic and the large garden beautifully kept. Hide

Very comfortable and relaxed cottage, with amazing views from the raised deck area, a great place to watch the buzzards, rabbits and even the odd red deer with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Well situated for exploring the Somerset coast, historical Dunster and the wilds of Exmoor

Beautiful cottage in a great location. Dunster is just around the corner and Minehead not far away. Off road parking outside front of cottage. A396 gives good link to Porlock which is well worth a visit, as is Kilve Beach. The holiday was just perfect. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage; we found it made a perfect base for walking parts of Somerset we haven't done before. There are plenty of walks direct from the property so we didn't have to use the car. The property is extremely well-equipped, nice and clean and has some thoughtful homely touches. The views from the rear of the cottage are stunning. Minehead is clRead moreose by should you need shops, banks etc and Dunster has good restaurants if you don't fancy cooking. Had a great week, thank you. Hide

third time staying at this cottage and every time its been perfect. Beds are comfy; floors lovely to walk on in bare feet, kitchen clean and plenty of utensils...shower is wonderful...and its so central to seeing the gems of Exmoor
