we had a lovely time, owner very kind and welcoming... tiny thing about location; the local pub is indeed walkable distance-wise, but the narrow roads didn't really feel safe to walk with children.... Property brilliantly place for visiting the surrouding area though

A nice and good equipped Cottage, surely big enough for 4, in quiet and scenic surroundings of the countryside. Good starting place for day trips to Bristol, Bath, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury and even further away like Stonehenge or the Big Pit in South Wales. The main road to Stanton Drew from Bristol was temperarely closed, we used very smaRead morell roads mostly only one car wide so pay extra attention. Hide

lovely cottage in a good location to reach the tourist attractions in somerset. People are very friendly and the cottage was perfect size for what we needed, well equipped and very clean. A nice friendly pub, The Druids, is walkable, serving good food at reasonable prices. I would recommend this cottage and rebook again if visiting the area.
