There are also several National Trust properties in the area, whilst Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole provide great options for more energetic explorers. In the evenings, simply relax in the pretty garden with a glass of wine.

Comfortable, modern decor and clean. Good location if you dont mind being isolated and driving places. No village pub or village shop within walking distance, but if you love walking, some country walks around here. No mobile signal in cottage or outside (Vodafone). Could be important to some people.

The accommodation and the gardens are lovely, a great place to relax and chill out, in comfort. We also took advantage of having three meals cooked for us by the owner/chef from a select menu. All delicious. The location and ambience of Gable Barn is somewhere we would wish to return to in the future.
