Host very welcoming and on hand if needed but not in your face Fairly long walk to closest pub, only place to eat out with out using car, supermarkets 5 mins away by car. Excellent place for peace and quite and for steam trains (expensive.) Lodge very comfortable and well equipped The bonus is the use of the pool.
